Graduation

A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for the Dual M.S. in Economics degree. If you have a question about how your GPA is calculated, please contact Dr. Craig Depken. Unofficial transcript information is available online through My UNCC. No more than 6 hours of coursework with a grade of “C” may be listed on the candidacy form and counted toward the minimum hours or courses required for the Master’s degree. Also, university policy requires that no course taken more than six years prior may be listed on a master’s student’s candidacy form.

As an administrative matter for the UNC Charlotte degree, students from Copenhagen can transfer six hours from their first year at CBS, complete 24 credit hours in their second year in Charlotte, and earn the M.S. in Economics; students from Charlotte will complete 24 credit hours in their first year at UNC Charlotte and then earn the M.S. in Economics by transferring the research credit they earn in the second year at CBS.

NOTE: Students must be enrolled in the semester in which they graduate.

Students are welcome to join the graduation ceremony at UNC Charlotte. Please consult the program director for further information.
