How to Apply
The ideal candidate:
Selection for the Belk Scholars Program is competitive and extremely limited. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills as evidenced by test scores and prior coursework. The 2019-2020 Belk Scholar cohort had an average total SAT score of 1440, average Math SAT score of 737, average total ACT score of 31, and average Math ACT score of 30.5. Students that possess test scores close to these averages and a desire to strengthen their quantitative skills to be able to apply those in the business world are encouraged to apply for the Belk Scholars Program.

For priority consideration for the Belk Scholars Program:
- Submit Belk Scholars Application through NinerScholars Portal by December 15 for priority consideration.
- Selected students will receive an invitation to interview (in-person or virtually) via email.
- There are designated interview times for the Belk Scholars Program. Students must participate in one of the interview timeslots to be considered for the scholarship.
- Have an Unweighted High School GPA of 3.50-4.00 OR a Weighted High School GPA of 3.75 or above
Applications received after the early application deadline are considered based upon program availability.
