Dr. Karen Ford-Eickhoff teaches strategic management and is particularly interested in strategic decision making, leadership, and organizational design. Dr. Ford-Eickhoff taught at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for over twenty-five years before joining the Belk College faculty in 2012. After serving as Chair of the Board of Directors of a major hospital for fourteen years, her research interests include exploring how boards may be more effective in serving their organizations, developing healthy relationships with the top management team, and acting as important connections with the organization’s community.
