UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business now ranks among the top 70 public business schools in the nation, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 Undergraduate Rankings.

Overall, the Belk College moved up 12 spots from last year, tied for 116th overall and among the top three public business schools in North Carolina. The undergraduate business rankings, published on Sept. 14, are based on a survey of deans and senior faculty at peer institutions.

In the overall undergraduate U.S. News rankings, UNC Charlotte remained a top performer for social mobility, rising to no. 62 among national universities. The ranking measures the size of the student population receiving Pell Grants and how well universities performed in graduating those individuals.

The University also ranks no. 1 among UNC System institutions for the “A+ Schools for B Students” rankings.

In March, U.S. News ranked the Belk College’s MBA program no. 1 among public part-time programs in North Carolina.
