What is your favorite thing about living in the Charlotte area?
I love the close proximity to so many large businesses, and the urban and fast-paced environment that living in such a big city provides. Charlotte is a city full of resources, new ideas, and bright opportunities.
What are your career goals for the future?
I am majoring in Data Science and Business Analytics. In the future, I hope to be a Business Intelligence Analyst or Data Scientist for a public policy firm or research institute.
What has been your favorite honors course so far and why?
The “Practicum 1: Introduction to Corporate Citizenship” course has been my favorite honors course so far because we tackle important topics regarding corporate social responsibility. It’s interesting to learn about how corporations can become socially responsible by implementing sustainable initiatives and practices.
What has been the most impactful professional development event that you’ve participated in through Business Honors Program?
The most impactful professional development event that I’ve participated in through the Business Honors Program has been the annual mock interviews event. After the event, I connected with one of my interviewers via LinkedIn, and was asked to meet with them in-person later that week. After the meeting, I was offered the opportunity to intern for their company.

The business honors program is a diverse community that fosters success, creates great bonds, encourages teamwork, and cultivates a fast-paced environment that makes students strive to be the best version of themselves.
