CEO Magazine again recognizes the MBA program for quality and ROI.

For the seventh consecutive year, UNC Charlotte’s Professional MBA program has been named a “Tier 1 Global” program by CEO Magazine.

In the magazine’s “2022 CEO Magazine Global MBA Rankings,” released on Feb. 16, Charlotte’s Master of Business Administration ranks among the best in the world for quality and return on investment (ROI).

“Being recognized for seven years in a row by C-level executives illustrates the overall quality of the Charlotte Professional MBA,” said Janaki Gooty, director of the Charlotte MBA program and a Belk College of Business associate professor. “We’re indebted to our world-renowned faculty for their dedication, helping to assure our program remains innovative, flexible and relevant for our students.”

The program, the largest MBA program in the Charlotte region, is set for more growth this fall with the launch of the tech-focused Charlotte Online MBA.

For the rankings, CEO Magazine, based in London, drew information from 347 programs in 27 countries.

The magazine classifies programs as Tier One or Tier Two based on factors, including quality of faculty and faculty-to-student ratio, international diversity and exposure, class size, accreditation, professional development, work experience, gender parity and instruction methods.

UNC Charlotte also is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report and was featured in The Princeton Review's Best Business Schools list for top on-campus MBA programs.

DBA Global Designation

For the third consecutive year, CEO Magazine also featured Charlotte’s Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in its “2022 Global DBA listing.” Charlotte has the only program in the Carolinas selected as a “premier DBA provider.”
