About the Speakers

Kimarie Ankenbrand is the Broker Lead of the Raleigh-Durham office for JLL and works with corporate users to develop real estate solutions to help solve complex business challenges, enable cultural and organizational change and achieve sustainable financial results. Before moving to the Raleigh-Durham area, Kimarie had 14 years of experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth market where she brings over five years of experience in corporate strategy and finance. Kimarie is also responsible for growing the JLL Raleigh business, acquiring and developing top talent and fostering an innovative and inclusive culture.

LaToya Faustin is a passionate executive who has devoted her entire career to empowering underserved populations, she has used her background in business and education to support upward mobility efforts here in Charlotte for the past 8 years.  She is now the Executive Director at She Built This City where she is a staunch advocate for workforce development pathways and access to the construction industry for women and non-binary individuals in our community.

Montell Watson is the Director of Movement Mortgage’s Consumer Direct channel. In his four years at Movement, Watson has helped lead and implement several corporate initiatives within the organization including Movement’s Consumer Direct channel and the Black American Homeownership initiative. Watson started his career in mortgage originations in 2008 at Wells Fargo and RBC Bank. He then transitioned into an Investment Advisory role at TD Ameritrade where he was a regular Presidents Club member. While at TD Ameritrade, Watson led sales teams and helped roll out strategic technology and business strategies within the region.
