Belk College students

What to know:

Newly-admitted students are encouraged to explore campus through a number of both virtual and in-person visit experiences.
Admitted students may attend a Belk College of Business presentation at one of three Admitted Students Days!  Please note: Admitted Students Day is NOT MANDATORY, nor does it take the place of Summer New Student Orientation. You will NOT be registering for classes at this event. However, we invite you to join us for the academic preview session and to meet other future 49ers!
New Student Orientation (NSO) is required for all incoming first-year and transfer students. Prior to attending NSO, students will complete New Student Modules and connect with Belk College of Business Academic and Career Coaches through a Virtual Advising and Registration session. Find out more information on the process and how to sign up by following this link

Newly-admitted students are initially classified as a Pre-Accounting (PACC), Pre-Business (PBUS), or Pre-Economics (PECO) major during their freshman and sophomore years. All business degrees are composed of: (1) General Education Requirements, (2) Progression Requirements, (3) Core Requirements, (4) Major Requirements, and (5) Electives. You will declare one of the Belk College of Business upper-level division majors after fulfilling and maintaining a GPA of 2.5 in progression requirements, earning a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and earning 60 credit hours.

All new students are required to have their own personal laptop computer. You can read the full policy here.
