What was the most meaningful part of enrolling in courses with other BLC students?
Enrolling in courses with other BLC students gave me the chance to become acquainted with first-year students like me and collaborate with others whenever challenges arose. It made me feel more comfortable with my classes since I would see and be around familiar faces.
How have you engaged in professional development as a result of BLC?
The Business Learning Community is a place where you learn more about yourself through the different assessments we take and the activities we do. Doing the Clifton Strengths and the BB&T Emerging Leadership Certification have helped me learn things about myself that I didn’t know before and enabled me to utilize my talents better. Participating in company site visits and engaging in different activities with the group has shown me what I like, do not like, and what I think will be possible career outcomes for myself.
